The C.H.E.F. (Culinary Holographic & Edible Fabricator) was created by Vortex Lab to address the extreme food shortages following the nuclear catastrophe. Since the radioactive wasteland soil produces poor quality crops, the C.H.E.F. uses synthetic material to fabricate foods identical to those from the old world.
Vita Flasks are hermetically sealed containers holding specialized synthetic fluids. When a player inserts a Vita Flask into a C.H.E.F. machine, it takes 1 minute to synthesize the item. For example, a Vita Onions flask will produce Synthetic Onions. These synthetic foods are stored in your profile and can be used at any Cooking Station just like real ingredients.
Mechanics:
- Find a C.H.E.F. Machine (often found in public hubs on the Mundus map).
- Click the machine and select a Vita Flask from your inventory.
- Wait 60 seconds for processing to complete.
- Your synthetic foods are delivered directly to your Vortex Profile.
