What is the Gas Pump?
The Gas Pump is a vital resource node located throughout the wasteland of Vortex Game. It allows players to extract Gasoline (⛽), an essential fuel used for advanced generators and upgrading the Survival Camp.
How to Use
- Locate: Gas Pumps are scattered across the map. You can find active pumps by checking the Mundus radar page.
- Extract: Approach a Gas Pump (within 5 meters) and click on it.
- Wait: The extraction process takes a random amount of time between 20 to 30 seconds.
- Collect: Once finished, 1 unit of Gasoline will be securely transferred to your HUD and saved in your online inventory.
Extraction Limits & Cooldowns
To prevent hoarding and ensure a balanced wasteland economy, Gas Pumps have a strict per-player security system:
- Each player can only extract a maximum of 3 units of Gasoline from the same pump.
- After reaching this limit, you must wait exactly 6 hours for your access to that specific pump to be unlocked.
- You can visit other Gas Pumps in the meantime, as the limit is tracked individually per pump!
