Planters

Survival in the wasteland is not just about scavenging; it is also about sustainability. The Planter is a vital in-game interactive object that allows players to grow their own food instead of relying entirely on loot drops.

Planting Seeds

To begin farming, approach a Planter in the Second Life grid. To plant a crop, you will need exactly 1 Seed and 1 unit of Water in your inventory. Once planted, the crop will take time to grow to maturity.

Harvesting

When the crop is fully grown, you can harvest it directly from the Planter. A successful harvest will yield exactly 3 Vegetables. This makes farming highly efficient, multiplying your initial seed investment.

Cooking and Sustenance

The Vegetables you harvest from the Planter can be traded at the Merchant for Money, but they are most valuable when cooked. Combine 1 Vegetable, 1 Meat, 1 Water, and 1 Wood at a cooking station to create a substantial meal, instantly granting you 5 Food Reserves to keep you exploring the dangers of the world.
