Your HUD is your lifeline. It tracks your essential statistics and determines how you interact with the hostile world around you. There are two main vitals you must always keep an eye on: Health (HP) and Stamina.
Health (HP)
Your Health indicates your physical condition. If it drops to 0%, you are considered DEAD. When dead, you cannot perform many actions and must focus entirely on recovering. Use healing items, rest, or seek medical supplies to bring your Health back to 100%.
Stamina & Exhaustion
Every action you take in the wasteland costs energy. If your Stamina depletes to 0%, you will become EXHAUSTED. An exhausted survivor is severely limited. You must rest and allow your stamina to naturally regenerate or consume energy-restoring items before you can continue gathering or fighting.
The Lure System
Your HUD features a toggle switch for the Lure. When the Lure is turned ON, you actively emit a signal. This allows you to use your weapons and tools, but be warned: it also attracts enemies! When the Lure is OFF, you are hidden from threats, but your weapons and tools will be disabled for your own safety.
