Welcome to the wasteland, survivor! Vortex is an expansive, post-apocalyptic survival experience built directly into Second Life. Your primary goal is to scavenge for resources, trade wisely, build powerful equipment, and survive against the harsh environment and hostile entities.

Getting Started

When you first enter the wasteland, your best friend will be your HUD. Ensure you are wearing it at all times to monitor your vitals, collect resources, and manage your inventory. Through the dashboard on this website, you can access your profile, check your achievements, and dive into the global economy.

The World Awaits

Exploration is key. You will find various interactive objects scattered across the grid—from resource nodes like copper and stone to fully functional crafting stations and even slot machines. Everything you do, from taking a single step into a hazardous zone to crafting your first weapon, contributes to your legacy in the Vortex universe.

Prepare yourself. It is not going to be easy, but the rewards are well worth the struggle. Good luck!
